My Bar-B-Que Sauce Recipe
This sauce can make any grilled meat turn into a work of culinary art--offering a full-flavored, zesty taste for the most discriminating taste.

Ingredients
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeƱos pepper, finely chopped (optional)
  • 3 T. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
  • 1/4 cup chili powder (good quality)
  • 1 T. Hot paprika
  • 3 T. Liquid smoke or to taste
  • 3 T. Brown Sugar
  • 2T. Yellow Mustard
  • 1/4 cup Jack Daniels (optional)

Directions
  1. In a heavy sauce pan, sweat onion, garlic, peppers in butter. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Turn fire to low, Simmer for 45 mins.
  2. Serve as a dipping sauce or use as a marinade on grilling meats. Store in refrigerator or freeze for future use.
  3. All measurements are approximate as I seldom measure anything when I cook.
