Asian Beef Recipe
This would make a great French Dip. The broth is rich. It is also good for gravy and mashed potatoes. The meat is so tender you can cut it with a fork.

Ingredients
  • 2 to 2 # arm roast or any cheap cut
  • 1/3 cup of soy sauce
  • 1 pkg. onion soup
  • water enough to almost cover the roast
  • 2 tsp. of cracked pepper

Directions
  1. Mix the onion soup and the soy sauce together and put in the crock. Put the Roast in and add water to almost cover the roast. Put the cracked pepper over the top of the roast.
  2. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours

I make something very similar - but I add the potatoes & onions and cook them (about 5 hours in the oven)


After we initial had it with mashed potatoes, we then used it for another meal and made French dip. It was really good. The meat has a really rich and savory flavor.
