THIS IS A WONDERFUL SAUCE TO SERVE HOT OVER ICE CREAM, OR BREAD PUDDINGS, OR OTHER DESSERTS YOU DESIRE.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
  • 1-1/2 TABLESPOONS CORNSTARCH
  • 1 ( 20 OUNCE) CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE IN HEAVY SYRUP
  • 2 TABLESPOON LEMON JUICE

Directions
  1. PLACE A STRAINER OVER A SMALL BOWL AND DRAIN THE CRUSHED PINEAPPLE.
  2. IN A SAUCEPAN, COMBINE SYRUP, CORNSTARCH, LEMON JUICE AND SIMMER FOR 5 MINUTES, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
  3. ADD IN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE AND STIR UNTIL EVENLY DISTRIBUTED.
  4. THE SAUCE IS GOOD SERVED HOT OVER BREAD PUDDINGS AND ICE CREAM
