Salsa Swiss Steak Recipe
I put the ingredients in the crockpot Sunday morning before we left for Mass. Never thought about it again (except for the wonderful aroma that was filling the hourse) until we served it up and enjoyed it for dinner.

Ingredients
  • boneless beef top round steak - 2-lbs
  • large green and/or red peppers, seeded and cut into strips - 2
  • medium onion, sliced - 1
  • cream of mushroom soup - 1 can
  • bottled salsa of choice - 1 cup
  • all purpose flour - 2-tbspn
  • dry mustard - 1 tspn

Directions
  1. Cut steak into 6-12 pieces nad put into crockpot.
  2. Add sweet peppers and onion.
  3. In a mediumbowl, stir together soup, salsa, flour, and mustard.
  4. Pour over steak and vegetables in slow cooker
  5. Cover and cook on low for 9 hours.
  6. NOTE: I made some rice and serve cornbread and turnip greens for a side. So-o-o good.
