How to make it

  • Combine Shortening, Flour, Salt and Sugar. Mix until Crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup to sprinkle over the batter. Add other staples to remaining crumb mixture. Add buttermilk and eggs. Pour into a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs and extra cinnamon if desired. Bake @ 375 for 25-30 Minutes. Test middle to make sure it is done.
