Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Lean beef Mince
  • 1 lb. Potatoes, peeled, cooked and Mashed
  • 1 large spanish Onion, finely sliced
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Beef stock
  • Toasted bread crumbs

Directions
  1. Lightly saute the sliced Onions
  2. Mix together the Meat and previously cooked Mashed Potatoes,
  3. add the sauted Onions
  4. season and add stock, and a little Milk if necessary
  5. Form into a roll on a floured board
  6. Cut into cake size pieces, equal in size.
  7. Shape neatly
  8. Coat with Egg and Breadcrumbs
  9. Fry gently in deep Fat until thoroughly cooked.
  10. serve in a Bread Bun or on a plate with Chips and Peas, or vegetable of your choice.
  11. A tasty snack or light main meal
