Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup Butter,melted
  • 1/4 Cup warm water
  • 1 (14&1/2oz) package gingerbread mix
  • 2 Egg yolks,beaten
  • 2 Egg whites,beaten,until soft peaks form

Directions
  1. Preheat Waffle iron
  2. Blend together,butter and water
  3. Add mix
  4. Beat two minutes at medium speed
  5. Stir in egg yolks
  6. Fold in whites
  7. Spoon or pour into waffle iron(2/3 full)
  8. Bake until steaming stops
  9. Serve with warmed applesauce or whipped cream

Sounds great...you can tell I love gingerbread! Will have to try. Maybe with your homemade syrup over top? Might let the gingerbread flavor come through better than maple syrup.
