Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Butter,melted
- 1/4 Cup warm water
- 1 (14&1/2oz) package gingerbread mix
- 2 Egg yolks,beaten
- 2 Egg whites,beaten,until soft peaks form
Directions
- Preheat Waffle iron
- Blend together,butter and water
- Add mix
- Beat two minutes at medium speed
- Stir in egg yolks
- Fold in whites
- Spoon or pour into waffle iron(2/3 full)
- Bake until steaming stops
- Serve with warmed applesauce or whipped cream

Sounds great...you can tell I love gingerbread! Will have to try. Maybe with your homemade syrup over top? Might let the gingerbread flavor come through better than maple syrup.
