- 1 pkg chocolate cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 C water
- 1/2 C vegetable oil
- 1 C sour cream
- 1 small pkg instant pudding (chocolate or butterscotch)
- 1 large pkg chocolate chips
- Frosting (homemade or in the tub)

Ingredients

1 pkg chocolate cake mix shopping list
4 eggs shopping list
1/2 C water shopping list
1/2 C vegetable oil shopping list
1 C sour cream shopping list
1 small pkg instant pudding (chocolate or butterscotch) shopping list
1 large pkg chocolate chips shopping list
frosting (homemade or in the tub) shopping list

How to make it

Pre-heat oven 350 degrees.
Grease pan. I like to use a bundt pan.
Mix ingredients.
Pour into pan.
Bake 50 - 60 minutes.
Cool completely.
Frost.

This cake was easy to make and it tasted really good. I was expecting it to taste more chocolately from what the other reviews said but it was still really good. I made 2- 10x15x1 sheet cakes and used a raspberry filling to put them together, definitely yummy.

I am wondering- is there room to switch out something for some mayonnaise- sick as it may sound I CANNOT find my old recipe of choc cake made w/mayo- and it truly was TO DIE FOR. I am guessing this is as well- must make, thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love those molten lava cakes too, and this cake is pretty close minus the molten lava. =)

Just wait till you and your kids try this, you guys are gonna love it.........!

My youngest son is always after me to make some kind of Lava molton thingy, but this sounds much, much better and easier! He could even make this one. Droolin good! Dear daughter and I are always craving chocolate anything. I KNOW this will hit the spot.

Ok I am now QUEEN of the workplace!! I made the killer Chocolate Cake and brought it to work and you should have HEARD everyone moaning in pleasure over it. They LOVED it and I have to give the recipe to every single person! Thanks for the great cake recipe and thanks for making me Queen for the Day! hahahah :-)
