How to make it

  • In shallow dish combine juice, margarine, oil, parsley, seeds, Tabasco, ginger and salt.
  • Mix well then pierce skin of fish in several places with tines of fork.
  • Roll fish in juice mixture to coat inside and out then cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Turn occasionally then remove fish from marinade and reserve marinade.
  • Place fish in handheld hinged grill then brush fish with reserved marinade.
  • Cook 4" from hot coals for 5 minutes.
  • Turn and brush with marinade then cook 5 minutes longer.

    wow...wish I had this recipe when I lived in the Sierras where we caught trout all the time. Guess I have to look for a lake here in Maryland to get some now!! Great idea. TX Kathye
