Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons margarine melted
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Tabasco
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 trout about 1 pound each

Directions
  1. In shallow dish combine juice, margarine, oil, parsley, seeds, Tabasco, ginger and salt.
  2. Mix well then pierce skin of fish in several places with tines of fork.
  3. Roll fish in juice mixture to coat inside and out then cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  4. Turn occasionally then remove fish from marinade and reserve marinade.
  5. Place fish in handheld hinged grill then brush fish with reserved marinade.
  6. Cook 4" from hot coals for 5 minutes.
  7. Turn and brush with marinade then cook 5 minutes longer.

Trout is my first choice of fish.This recipe sounds wonderful! I am thinking the Tabasco gives it an unique flavor.


Wow...wish I had this recipe when I lived in the Sierras where we caught trout all the time. Guess I have to look for a lake here in Maryland to get some now!! Great idea. TX Kathye
