Ingredients

How to make it

  • SAUTE ONIONS, BACON, MUSHROOMS AND GARLIC UNTIL BACON IS COOKED WELL, BUT NOT CRISP. DRAIN
  • ADD SOUP AND STIR WELL. DO NOT THIN SOUP WITH WATER
  • ADD BOURBON, JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT WILL MAKE THE SOUP THE RIGHT CONSISTANCY. ADD WATER AS DESIRED TO THIN FURTHER, BUT NOT TOO MUCH TO TAKE AWAY THE TASTE OF THE BOURBON,(I ACTUALLY USE A CAN OF BEER TO GET THE RIGHT CONSISTENCY).
  • ADD GARLIC PEPPER TO TASTE.
  • ALLOW TO SIMMER UNTIL THE ALCOHOL HAS COOKED OFF, ABOUT 20 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASSIONALLY.
  • SERVE OVER GRILLED STEAKS OR BAKED POTATOES

thanks...it really is good...just need to thin it to your liking, we kind of like it thick, so I don't use to much beer to thin it. Hope you like it!
