Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix flour, dry milk, baking powder, and salt together.
  • Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, and beat well.
  • Add half the dry ingredients, then mashed bananas.
  • Add remaining half dry ingredients, and nuts, if using.
  • Bake in 13 x 9 pan (sprayed with pan spray) 35 min. at 350 degrees.

    Made these the other day, they were a huge it, so moist n tasty, I topped with a simple powder sugar glaze. I'll be making these for years to come I'm sure.

    Wow these do sound good! I've never made banana bars, usually bread, and pumpkin bars. Will bookmark to try when I've got nanners:o)
