1970 Southern Living Butter Roll Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup sugar

2 cups flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon vanilla

2 cups corn flakes, crushed

1 cup chopped pecans

1/4 cup powdered sugar

Directions

In large bowl, combine all ingredients except powdered sugar

Mix well

Form into balls

Bake on greased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes

May have to cook a little longer

Remove from oven

Roll in powdered sugar while still warm
