Raspberry Truffle Chocolate Sin Brownies

- BROWNIE BATTER: shopping list
- 1&1/4c. semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2c. butter shopping list
- 3/4c. brown sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1t. instant coffee crystals dissolved in 2T. water shopping list
- 1/2t. baking powder shopping list
- 3/4c. flour shopping list
- TRUFFLE FILLING: shopping list
- 1c. semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/4t. instant coffee crystals shopping list
- 8oz. cream cheese; softened shopping list
- 1/4c. confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1/3c. seedless red raspberry preserves shopping list
- GLAZE: shopping list
- 1/4c. semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1t. shortening shopping list
How to make it
- BROWNIES:
- Melt chocolate chips & butter. Cool slightly.
- Beat eggs & sugar together.
- Add chocolate mixture & coffee dissolved in water to egg mixture & mix well.
- Stir in baking powder & flour until just combined.
- Spread in 9x9 pan & bake 30-35 min. @ 350F.
- Cool on wire rack.
- TRUFFLE FILLING:
- Melt chocolate chips & coffee crystals together. Set aside.
- Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add confectioners sugar & raspberry preserves, beating until fluffy.
- Beat in chocolate/coffee mixture until well blended. Spread over top of brownies.
- GLAZE:
- Melt chocolate chips & shortening. Drizzle over top of truffle mixture.
- Chill 2 hours.
- Cut into squares.
