Pittsburgh Steak Salad

Another Pittsburgh staple you'll find in nearly every casual restaurant in Pittsburgh. I think Primanti's had an influence on this one! Do NOT turn up your nose at French fries on the top! You're going to start wanting fries on ALL your salads. Read more Trust me. See less
Ingredients
- 1 ribeye steak or other favorite steak to taste, grilled to your liking shopping list
- your favorite greens shopping list
- good tomatoes shopping list
- red onion, sliced thinly shopping list
- sliced cucumbers shopping list
- shredded mozzarella shopping list
- Fresh HOT French fries shopping list
- ranch dressing or whatever your fav is - balsamic is nice, too shopping list
How to make it
- On a large dinner plate, make a nice pile of greens and arrange the rest of the veggies on and around the plate. Top each serving with 1/2 of the sliced steak - make it pretty! Then top the steak with the cheese and finish off with the HOT fries! Serve the dressing on the side and enjoy. Yinz'll think yer in Pittsburgh n'at.
