Date Tarts Over 100 Years old

- 2 cups seedless dried dates shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated lemon rind shopping list
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice shopping list
- 3 tablespoons sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons milk shopping list
- 6 unbaked tart shells shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- flour shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse and drain dates then chop and mix with rind and lemon juice then with the sugar and milk.
- Put tart shells in muffin tin.
- Fill shells and sprinkle each with a little flour and dot with the butter generously.
- Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
- Serve plain or top with custard, cream or meringue.
