Italian Veal With Mushrooms And Cheese Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 veal cutlets
  • 1 egg,beaten
  • Italian bread crumbs
  • olive oil
  • 2Tbs. red wine vinegar
  • 2 white onions,sliced
  • 1lb. mushrooms,sliced
  • 1(28oz) jar of sauce or your own sauce
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 3/4c parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Dip veal in egg then bread crumbs.. In skillet,saute cutlets in oil until well browned and drain. In seperate saucepan,drizzle olive oil and vinegar over onions and mushrooms. Cover,simmer over low heat till onions are opaque. In a 9' square baking pan,layer 1/3 sauce,1/2 cutlets and 1/2 of onions and mushroom mix,1/2 of provolone cheese and 1/3 of parmesan cheese. Repeat layers. Top with remaining 1/3 sauce and 1/2 parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 till bubbly.
