Salted Peanut Crisps Recipe
One of the easiest recipes I've come across. Fun to make. Betty Crocker's Best Of Baking.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Margarine or Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Shortening
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour (If using Self-Rising Flour, omit Baking Soda and Salt)
  • 2 cups salted Peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Mix brown sugar, margarine or butter, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
  5. Flatten with greased bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
  6. Bake until golden brown, 8 to 10 minutes.
  7. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.

It does sound easy but good. I love the sounds of these and anything with peanuts is fine with me. Great post.
