Healthy Chinese Chilli French Fries

- 1-2 medium potatoes (any type) shopping list
- 1/2 onion, sliced into strips shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic Minced shopping list
- 1 Tbsp soya sauce/tamari shopping list
- salt, to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp rice wine/vinegar shopping list
- Dash of chilli powder/flakes shopping list
- 1 tsp 5-spice powder shopping list
- ~~~~~~~~~~~ shopping list
- Optional: carrots, julienned/strips shopping list
How to make it
- Peel potatoes and cut into julienned strips.
- Soak in boiling water for 1-2 mins.
- Drain, rinse with cold water and pat dry.
- Heat oil in pan and add onions and garlic. Stir til slightly brown (about 1 min).
- Add potato sticks, soya sauce, salt, wine vinegar and chilli powder. Stir to coat.
- Sprinkle 5-spice powder and stir again for about another minute.
- Remove from heat and serve into a plate.
