Prawns With Spinach

- 2 tbsp vegetable oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 tsp turmeric shopping list
- 2 green chillies, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder shopping list
- 2 tomatoes, diced shopping list
- 350 g raw prawns, peeled and cleaned shopping list
- 150 g spinach, chopped shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp garam masala shopping list
- 2 tbsp light cream shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds and bay leaves.
- When you hear a crackling sound of the seeds bursting, add onion and saute for 5 minutes.
- Next add ginger, garlic, turmeric and green chillies, chilli powder and tomatoes.
- Lightly saute for a few minutes.
- Add prawns and cook until opaque.
- Next add spinach and saute until wilted.
- Mix garam masala with cream and pour into pan.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove bay leaves.
- Add chop cilantro and serve with basmati rice.
