How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Unroll dough and seperate into 12 breadsticks.
  • Cut each breadstick in half lengthwise (I used a pizza cutter)
  • Roll or press each one out to a 10" rope.
  • To shape pretzel, shape rope into a circle, overlapping dough about 2" from each end, having ends free.
  • Take one end in each hand, twist once at point where dough overlaps.
  • Lift ends over opposite side of the circle.
  • Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Brush with beaten egg.
  • Sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake 13-15 minutes or until golden brown. (It only took mine about 11 minutes because I wanted them really soft.)
