This recipe is out of an old newspaper that has been going through the generations of my family

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 finely chopped nuts
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions
  1. cream together butter and sugar, then add the egg and vanilla.
  2. add flour that has been sifted with the baking powder and salt and mix together.
  3. roll the dough into tablespoon balls and roll in the pecans and cinnamon.
  4. place in a lightly greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  5. cook for 10 - 15 mins at 375.
  6. remove from baking sheet imediately.
