Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mash salmon so the bones are crushed and mixed in. (Can also remove the bones, but then it takes longer)
  • Combine all ingredients together
  • Put into a greased loaf pan. (I use a casserole dish because I don't have a loaf pan.)
  • Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, or until loaf is firm
  • If using a casserole dish, reduce cook time by 10-15 minutes. Or else it will start to burn.

Pieplate, thanks for the suggestion. However, my husband hates bread and butter pickles. The only pickles he will eat are Claussen dill halves. Like I said, he's extremely picky.

A good reliable recipe--thanks! I wonder if your husband would like it with some chopped bread-and-butter pickles in it? Not spicy, but interesting.
