Ginger Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c Sugar

3/4 c Shortening

2 tsp Cinnamon

2 tbsp Ginger

1 Egg

4 tsp Molasses

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

2 c Flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Cream together sugar, shortning, egg, and molasses. Mix til smooth & creamy.

Add remaining ingredents, mix well.

Spray non stick spay on two cookie sheets

Using a teaspoon to measure; soop up some batter, form into a ball place on cookie sheet 2 inch apart from each other.

Using the back of a wooden spoon, press down on the balls.

Bake for 7 - 10 minutes. Depending on your oven.

Let cool on cookie sheets for 2 min. then remove to wax paper.
