Nice easy cookie with a ginger bit in it. My boys love spice. Note: I started with 1 tsp of ginger & Cinnamon; My kids said not enough kick , we went to 2 tbsp, and they were happy.

Ingredients
- 1/2 c Sugar
- 3/4 c Shortening
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Ginger
- 1 Egg
- 4 tsp Molasses
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 c Flour
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cream together sugar, shortning, egg, and molasses. Mix til smooth & creamy.
- Add remaining ingredents, mix well.
- Spray non stick spay on two cookie sheets
- Using a teaspoon to measure; soop up some batter, form into a ball place on cookie sheet 2 inch apart from each other.
- Using the back of a wooden spoon, press down on the balls.
- Bake for 7 - 10 minutes. Depending on your oven.
- Let cool on cookie sheets for 2 min. then remove to wax paper.

Please give it a try, I am not much of a ginger fan, so I have been playing with the amount of ginger and cinniman. I still don't know if I am satified with it.
