Barley Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

2 TBS Butter

2/3 cup Barley

1 cup chopped onion

1 cup Cauliflower chopped

1 cup mushrooms Chopped{White}

1 cup finely Shredded Carrots

21/2 cups water

2 Tsp. Chicken broth

1/4 Tsp Garlic powder

1/8 tsp. ground pepper

Directions

Melt 1 Tbs. butter in a large Skillet medium heat

Add:Barley cook 2-3 minutes. Stir often untill lightly brown place in a oiled 3/4 quart casserole dish. Can Spray casserole dish with cookin spray.

Melt remaining butter in skillet

Add: Onions Cauliflower mushrooms carrots. Cook 10 minutes

Stir often

Add veggies to casserole stir

{IN A SMALL BOWL} ADD:} water, broth,garlic powder ,.pepper. mix well add to casserole. {Bake 1 hour 15 min. untill Barlet is tender

and most of the liquid is absorbed

Stir several times while baking

let stand 5 minutes serve
