  • HEAT THE SUGAR AND WATER OVER MEDIUM HEAT IN A TALL SAUCEPAN, COOK UNTIL SUGAR LIQUIFIES AND TURNS GOLDEN BROWN, ABOUT 1`2 TO 14 MINUTES....
  • REMOVE FROM THE HEAT AND CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY ADD THE HEAVY CREAM ( CAUTION ; THE MIXTURE WILL BUBBLE UP VIOLENTLY, AND OUCH A BURN ) WHICH IS WHY YOU NEED A TALL PAN)
  • RETURN TO HEAT AND STIR UNTIL MIXTURE IS SMOOTH.
  • REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN TEQUILA, THEN BUTTER UNTIL IT MELTS.
  • SERVE WARM OR AT ROOM TEMPERTURE. STORE ANY LEFTOVER SAUCE, COVERED TIGHTLY IN REFRIGERATOR FOR UP TO 2 WEEKS ............GOOD ON DESSERTS AND ICE-CREAM... OR WHATEVER YOU WANT
