- 1 CUP sugar shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS water shopping list
- 1 CUP heavy cream shopping list
- 2 - TABLESPOONS tequila shopping list
- 1/4 CUP ( 1/2 STICK) butter CUT INTO CHUNKS shopping list
How to make it
- HEAT THE SUGAR AND WATER OVER MEDIUM HEAT IN A TALL SAUCEPAN, COOK UNTIL SUGAR LIQUIFIES AND TURNS GOLDEN BROWN, ABOUT 1`2 TO 14 MINUTES....
- REMOVE FROM THE HEAT AND CAREFULLY AND SLOWLY ADD THE HEAVY CREAM ( CAUTION ; THE MIXTURE WILL BUBBLE UP VIOLENTLY, AND OUCH A BURN ) WHICH IS WHY YOU NEED A TALL PAN)
- RETURN TO HEAT AND STIR UNTIL MIXTURE IS SMOOTH.
- REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN TEQUILA, THEN BUTTER UNTIL IT MELTS.
- SERVE WARM OR AT ROOM TEMPERTURE. STORE ANY LEFTOVER SAUCE, COVERED TIGHTLY IN REFRIGERATOR FOR UP TO 2 WEEKS ............GOOD ON DESSERTS AND ICE-CREAM... OR WHATEVER YOU WANT
