Midgelet / All my dishes 1 year, 7 months ago
May be pan fried, deep fried or broiled in oven. My family loves this sandwich and I usually pan fry it like you would do for French Toast
Great with potato salad!
Powdered sugar on it is very special- got to try it!

Use Jalapeño jelly as a side to dip in as you eat. Jalapeño jelly is not hot- it has a nice delicate sweetness and really adds to this sandwich. Still use the powdered sugar as the two will compliment each other. Wonderful recipe.
