How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Cream butter, sugar and vanilla essence until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in mashed bananas.
  • Fold in flour gently.
  • Add milk gradually.
  • Pour in mixture into cake tin.
  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
