Cowboy Soup

- 3lbs. of hamburger shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 32 oz bag of frozen veggies(peas, carrots, green beans, corn is what I use) shopping list
- Quart of good chicken stock-necessary for rich flavor shopping list
- Two 28 oz cans of dices tomatoes shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- garlic(fresh or powder shopping list
- Lots of hot garlic toast shopping list
How to make it
- Season with salt pepper and garlic then fry the hamburger with onions until onions have started to carmalize
- In larger stock pot add all of your other ingredients
- Bring to a boil
- Add hamburger and onion mixture
- Adjust seasonings and liquid.
- Add more stock or water to suit your taste
- Bring back to a boil let boil for a few minutes
- then simmer for about an hour.

This will be a great soup for the fall; it is starting to warm up here in Houston so I don't make a lot of soup until around October. You know when it gets really cold here say about 50 degress! lol
