One serving has 7g of fat. I got this one from our local 2002 cookbook. We like this one a lot. It is simple and easy to do and has a great flavor.

Ingredients
  • 12-ounces lean ground beef sirloin
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1- 1/2 cups canned tomatoes, crushed
  • 3-ounces uncooked broad noodles, cooked according to package directions
  • 1 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a 3-quart saucepan, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up meat until cooked through.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in tomatoes, noodles, oregano, salt and pepper.
  5. Spoon into a 1-1/2- quart casserole dish.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Bake covered until heated through and cheese is melted, about 15 to 20 minutes.
