Ingredients
  • 12 ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 12 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 12 ounces Amaretto liqueur
  • 7-Up or Ginger-ale soda (for serving)

Directions
  1. Mix both juice concentrates and Amaretto together well and store in freezer, stirring every couple hours for the first several hours. Mixture will keep for a couple months in the freezer
  2. When ready to serve, stir frozen mixture (the alcohol will prevent it from freezing hard, and the Amaretto will tend to "sink" to the bottom of the container, so you want to re-mix it back into the frozen mix before serving - if you don't, your guests will get a powerful sedative when they drink the last of the slushes!).
  3. Fill a glass about 2/3 full of the slush mixture.
  4. Add 7-Up almost to the top (be careful of the fizz the 7-Up will create - pour it into the glass slowly) and gently stir it into the slush mixture.
  5. Serve immediately.
