Rabbit Hunter Style Coniglio Alla Cacciatore

- 1 4lb rabbit shopping list
- 1 ½ Cup Burgundy wine shopping list
- 4 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 chopped onion shopping list
- 1 clove garlic shopping list
- 2 Cups canned tomatoes shopping list
- 1 tsp rosemary shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cut rabbit into small serving pieces
- Place in bowl and pour wine over the top
- Allow to marinate for 6 hours
- Heat oil in large saucepan
- Add onion, garlic, and brown for 3 minutes
- Add rabbit, tomato, and spices
- Cover and cook slowly for 30 minutes
- Gradually add the wine used for marinating
- Add rosemary
- Cook for 20 minutes or until rabbit is tender
