  • DUNCAN HINES BUTTER RECIPE CAKE
  • 2 CUPS SUGAR
  • 2 CUPS WATER
  • 3 HEAPING TABLESPOONS PEANUTBUTTER, CREAMY

Directions
  1. DUNCAN HINES BUTTER RECIPE CAKE MIX. FOLLOW BOX DIRECTIONS TO PREPARE.
  2. BRING WATER TO A BOIL IN SAUCE PAN. STIR IN SUGAR AND DISSOLVE. SPOON IN PEANUT BUTTER. KEEP STIRRING ON HIGH HEAT THE ENTIRE TIME IT TAKES THE ICING TO DEVELOP. APPROX 15-20 MINUTES. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED IT WILL SCORCH.
  3. TEST ICING. DROP A DROPLET OF ICING INTO A CUP OF WATER IF IT STAYS INTACT IT IS READY. TAKE OFF HEAT. IF IT DOES NOT STAY INTACT COOK SOME MORE.
  4. ALLOW TO COOL AND THICKEN. PUT IN FRIDGE UNTIL COOL ENOUGH TO SPREAD.
  5. YOU CAN FIX ANYTYPE OF CAKE. I PREFER A BUNDT CAKE. ICING WILL BE THE TEXTURE OF A GLAZE THAT WILL HARDEN.
  6. YOU WILL HAVE A VERY UGLY CAKE BUT IT IS SOOOOOO GOOD!
