Banana Caramel Cream Pie Recipe
Caramel and banana with a mound of delicious sweetened cream in a coconut crust.

Ingredients
  • CRUST
  • 1c brown sugar
  • 1c self rising flour
  • 1c coconut
  • 125g melted butter
  • CARAMEL
  • 1 tin of condensed milk
  • 30g butter
  • 2T brown sugar
  • 1or2 banana's (depending on size and your quantity preference)
  • sweetened whipped cream
  • shaved chocolate

Directions
  1. CRUST
  2. Mix together brown sugar, flour, coconut and melted butter. Press into a 9'' pie plate. Bake at 350F until golden. Cool
  3. CARAMEL
  4. Melt butter and brown sugar in a thick bottomed saucepan, add condensed milk. Bring slowly to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened and dark in color. ( this step can be done in the microwave, stir often so as not to burn)
  5. Pour into bottom of prepared pie shell. Cool slightly. Slice banana's evenly over caramel. Cool completely. Top with sweetened cream and shaved chocolate.
