Rose Gernanium Cake Recipe
I make this for ladies luncheons. A unusual cake with pleasing and interesting flavor. Be sure to use the scented rose geranium leaves!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cup evaporated canned milk
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped rose geranium leaves
  • 1 tsp rose water ( optional )

Directions
  1. Mix the first 3 ingredients well.
  2. Combine flour and baking powder and add alternately with the milk.
  3. Blend in the chopped rose geranium leaves.
  4. Pour mixture in a tube pan.
  5. Bake 60 minutes or tested done.
  6. Dust with powder sugar or a powder sugar thin glaze
  7. Note: rose geranium is a small aromatic leaf and not like the regular
  8. geranium flower leaves.!
