How to make it

  • Heat oven to 400 F. Dip meat in butter and place on cookie sheet with sides. Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes and then reduce the oven to 350.
  • Sauce:
  • Measure next 7 ingredients into a saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring. Pour over chicken on cookie sheet and bake 30 minutes more.
  • Transfer meat to a platter and cover to keep warm. Pour the sauce from the cookie sheet into the saucepan. Mix flour, water and soya sauce until smooth and add to sauce. Cook over medium-high heat until very thick. Pour over meat.
