How to make it

  • To make yoghurt thick, drain regular yoghurt through a cheese cloth.
  • Empty thickened yoghurt in a bowll and mix with all other ingredients.
  • Blend well and chill.

    Basic classic recipe:
    Usually a thick yoghurt such as Greek or Bulgarian kind is used, and cucumbers are usually grated or strained of any excess lquid, then vinegar and garlic are used to flavor.

    Dill, mint tarragon are optional depending on country of origin as is with olive oil, types of vinegar ( i.e red wine )and any extra added seasoning.

    I don't drain/strain my cukes. And I love fresh dill in the recipe.
