- 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 onion, julienned shopping list
- 1 green pepper, julienned shopping list
- 1 red pepper, julienned shopping list
- 1 1/2 pounds sliced flank steak shopping list
- 1 ripe tomato shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano shopping list
- white rice, for serving shopping list
- black beans, for serving shopping list
- Fried plantains, for serving shopping list
How to make it
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and peppers and saute until translucent. Add steak, tomato, bay leaf, cumin, garlic, and oregano.
- Stir to combine and cook for 25 minutes.
- Serve over a bed of white rice, black beans, and sweet fried plantains.
