Gingered Peanut Butter Cookies

- 1 1/4 C AP flour shopping list
- 3/4 t baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 t baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 t salt shopping list
- 1 t ginger powder shopping list
- 1/4 C unsalted butter shopping list
- 1/4 C vegetable shortening shopping list
- 1/2 C All Natural peanut butter (no sugar added please) shopping list
- 1/4 C Table (white) sugar shopping list
- 3/4 C brown sugar shopping list
- 1 t vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 C peanut butter chips shopping list
- 1/2 C chopped roasted peanuts shopping list
- 1/4 C chopped candied ginger shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375*
- Combine all dry ingredients, set aside.
- Cream butter, shortening, peanut butter and sugars.
- Add eggs and vanilla, beat to combine.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, stir to combine.
- Stir in chips and candied ginger.
- You can form these in 1" balls and crosshatch with a fork or make as drop cookies.
- Bake for about 8-10 minutes per batch.
- Makes about 4 dozen.
