Grasshopper Pie Recipe

	Chefmeow / All my dishes 1 year, 7 months ago This is an awesome pie and one I have made for years. My mother got this recipe from one of my childhood friends over 20 years ago. Ingredients

1-1/2 cups crushed chocolate wafers

1 stick melted butter

6-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup creme de menthe

2 tablespoons creme de cacao

2 cups whipping cream

Directions

Mix wafer crumbs and melted butter then press into a pie pan saving 2 tablespoons crumbs.

Chill crust 1 hour.

Combine marshmallows and milk then heat in a double boiler until marshmallows are melted.

Cool stirring every five minutes then add creme de menthe and creme de cacao.

Whip 2 cups whipping cream until soft peaks form then fold into marshmallow mixture.

Pour into crust and top with reserved chocolate crumbs then freeze until firm.

Store in refrigerator.
