Olive Surprises Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 cup softened butter

1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/2 cup sifted flour

3 dozen medium stuffed green olives

Directions

Cream butter and cheese until well blended.

Add remaining ingredients except olives and mix well then chill 15 minutes.

Shape a small portion of dough around each olive then place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes then serve hot or cold.

I made a similar recipe for a dinner party recently and everyone really liked them. Once baked, however, the bottoms were flat, even tho' I had refrigerated them for several hours before baking.
