Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a med. skillet, brown ground chicken and onions in olive oil, until chicken is browned and onions are transparent.
  • Add green beans and BBQ sauce. Stir until beans are warmed and everything is incorporated.
  • Transfer to a casserol dish, spread potatoes over meat and bean mixture, and put in 350 oven for 20 minutes, or until heated through and potatoes are golden brown.
  • I have replaced the mashed potatoes with Cornbread....YUM!!

Oh my gosh. I'd almost forgotten this poem that I often recited to my children. "Alligator pie, alligator pie, If I don't get some I think I'm gonna die. Give away the green grass, give away the sky, But don't give away my alligator pie. Written by, Dennis Lee" Great "5" fork recipe and thanks for the memory nudge ;)
