Onion and Mushroom Flatbread

- 2 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup dry milk shopping list
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 1/2 tbls.,butter, softened shopping list
- 3/4 cup cold water shopping list
- 6 leaves sage, chopped shopping list
- 1 red onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 tbls butter shopping list
- 1 lb. mushrooms of your choice, chopped shopping list
- 2 tsp olive oil shopping list
How to make it
- Put flour, dry milk, baking powder, and salt in food processor and mix until combined
- Add softened butter and cold water and mix for 2-3 minutes
- In skillet, saute onions, mushrooms and sage in 1 tbls butter until tender
- Let mixture cool
- Add mushroom mixture to flour mixture and process until combined
- Remove dough to a well-floured surface
- Divide into 8 pieces
- Roll into an 8-inch round at about 1/8-inch thick
- Heat skillet to very hot
- Add 1/2 tsp olive oil
- Saute each round individually, adding more olive oil as needed, until each side is golden brown
