Beef and Chimichurri Sauce

- 1 cup parsley leaves shopping list
- 1 shallot,coarse chopped shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic,chopped shopping list
- 3 Tbs. red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1/4c olive oil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. each salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 lb. boneless beef top sirloin shopping list
- 3 cups prepared rice(optional) shopping list
How to make it
- In food processor,combine parsley,shallot,garlic,vinegar,olive oil,1/4 tsp each salt and pepper.Pulse until combined;set aside
- Heat gas grill to med-high or prepare charcoal grill with med-hot coals. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper over steak. Grill about 8 mins. a side.
- Remove steak from grill and place in glass baking dish;spread the sauce over the top and cover dishwith foil;allow to sit 5 mins. Remove steak from dish and slice. Serve with sauce remaining in the baking dis and rice,if desired.

I love chimichurri sauce!! (psst, it is good on french fries, too) But I didn't tell you that!

I love beef top sirloin and this recipe sounds wonderful! I don't think that I have ever trid the Chimichurri Sauce.

I love Chimichurri sauce. I have had it on grilled Flank Steak but I bet it it great on a Top Sirloin also.... thanks...... Jim
