Chicken Hazarvi,has a nice combination of spice,cream,and chilly. It is moderately hot,that suits almost everybody's taste.

Ingredients
  • Chicken breasts, boneless,
  • 2 inch cubes 8
  • Ginger paste 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • White pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Cheese, grated ½ cup
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 4
  • Mace powder ¼ tsp
  • Nutmeg powder ¼ tsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Fresh cream ¾ cup
  • Butter for basting

Directions
  1. Apply ginger paste, garlic paste, white pepper powder and salt to the chicken cubes and set aside.
  2. Mash the cheese to make it into a smooth paste. Add finely chopped green chillies, mace powder, nutmeg powder, chopped coriander leaves and salt.
  3. Add egg and mix well. Add chicken to the cheese mixture.
  4. Add fresh cream and mix gently.
  5. Keep in the refrigerator for about two to three hours.
  6. Pierce chicken onto skewers and cook in a moderately hot tandoor or a preheated oven (200°C) until it is just cooked and lightly coloured.
  7. Brush with melted butter and cook for another two minutes till chicken is fully cooked.
