Acorn Squash With Brown Sugar Pecan Topping

- 2 small acorn squash shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons water shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter melted shopping list
How to make it
- Pre heat oven to 375.
- Cut each squash in half lengthwise then discard seeds.
- Cut squash crosswise into 1” slices.
- Place slices in a single layer in a jelly roll pan.
- Sprinkle with salt then drizzle water around squash.
- Cover pan lightly with foil then bake 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile in small bowl stir nuts with brown sugar and butter until combined.
- Spoon mixture evenly over squash then bake uncovered for 15 minutes.
