How to make it

  • Pre heat oven to 375.
  • Cut each squash in half lengthwise then discard seeds.
  • Cut squash crosswise into 1” slices.
  • Place slices in a single layer in a jelly roll pan.
  • Sprinkle with salt then drizzle water around squash.
  • Cover pan lightly with foil then bake 30 minutes.
  • Meanwhile in small bowl stir nuts with brown sugar and butter until combined.
  • Spoon mixture evenly over squash then bake uncovered for 15 minutes.
