Orange Chicken Skillet Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut in strips
  • 2 medium carrots, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium green pepper, seeded, cored and sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 5 tsp. flour
  • 1 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup chili sauce (I also like to add a little Sriracha hot sauce, to taste)

Directions
  1. Stir-fry chicken, carrots, pepper and onion just til done, but chicken is still tender and veggies are crisp-tender. In a small bowl, combine flour & brown sugar; stir in juice and chili sauce (and pepper sauce, if desired) til smooth. Add to skillet. Cook and stir til thickened. I like to serve with fried rice and Asian slaw.
