How to make it

  • Slice onions and place in the bottom of a roasting pan
  • Place brisket on top of onions.
  • Mix the rest of ingredients and pour over meat.
  • Either cover roast well with a roasting pan cover or cover with aluminum foil tightly.
  • Roast for 4 hours in a 300 degree oven OR until tender.
  • Let stand 15 minutes before slicing meat to serve.
  • Serve with pan juices.
