How to make it

  • Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Roll loaf or combined rolls into a 10x16-inch rectangle.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rest about 10 minutes.
  • Remove wrap and spread dough with softened cream cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Roll up jelly roll style starting with a long side.
  • Place seam side down on a sprayed baking pan.
  • Using a sharp, serrated knife cut some vents in the top.
  • Bake at 350°F 25-30 minutes.
  • Cool on rack.
  • Slice when cooled

    I double checked recipe site/photo and there is no rising time. The photo did not look at all like a puffy loaf but more like filled pastry!!

    This sounds so good! I do plan to make it but I have one question. Is there no rising time once you fill and roll the dough?
