Roasted Salmon James Bond

- The Fish: shopping list
- 1 large salmon filet (1 1/-2 lbs) shopping list
- The Martini: shopping list
- 1 t. dill weed shopping list
- juice of ½ lemon shopping list
- 1/3 cup vodka shopping list
- ¼ cup dry vermouth shopping list
- 4 T. melted butter (or more as required) shopping list
- 2 t. creamed horseradish shopping list
- 1 t. crushed garlic shopping list
- 1 t. Tabasco sauce shopping list
How to make it
- 1 hour before cooking, take salmon from refrigerator. Rinse and pat dry. Remove any pin bones with a tweezers. Put the salmon on a double layer of large aluminum foil sheets. Close it on three sides. Add the “martini”. Close the foil tightly. Let stand for 1 hour.
- Prepare a wood fire for indirect cooking.
- Cook the salmon for 30 minutes with foil closed. Carefully open the top. Let the salmon cook for 10-15 minutes longer until sauce reduces. Serve the salmon with the thickened sauce. If the sauce has become too thick, melt an additional tablespoon of butter over salmon.
