Orange Thyme Marinade

- 1 tsp grated orange peel shopping list
- 1/2 C orange juice shopping list
- 2 Tbl balsamic or red wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 Tbl canola oil shopping list
- 2 medium green onion, finely chopped(2 Tbl) shopping list
- 1 Tbl fresh or 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients in a resealable freezer bag
- Add 2 lbs of beef, chicken or pork; seal and turn to coat with marinade
- Refrigerate, turning ocassionally for at least 6 hours but not longer than 24
- Remove meat from marinade; reserve marinade
- Grill meat as desired, brushing with marinade
- Heat remaining marinade to boiling; stir 1 minute
- Serve with grilled meat
- Tip: pre-cook bone in chicken in microwave, cool and then marinade
